The #67 Speeds Up Over The Last Week

Last Tuesday Jaylen Hankamp led the way for the JRS Racing team and Hankamp Racing in the AREA iRacing Truck Series. He finished a team high 14th at Chicagoland. The truck suffered some early damage, but Hankamp utilized pit strategy and patience to move up the field. 

Chicagoland was just the start of things. Late last week Hankamp entered an independent cash race. He was in complete control of the truck throughout the race. Hankamp ran his lines, trusted his instinct, and finished in the money.

Last night Hankamp entered a big race at Dover in the AREA iRacing Truck Series. Hankamp had good speed from start to finish, even running a handful of laps in the top 3. Tire strategy was huge in this race as the track really tore up the tires. Hankamp kept them as fresh as possible at the right moments and finished the race in 10th. The solid finish helped put him in the playoff race.
