It's a huge week of basketball on the prep scene and the perfect time to raise your stock as a player and prospect! Quite a few players did just that over the last few days. We're going to give you 5 players from Michigan that we think should see their stock soar after it's all said and done.
Megan Hawkins (2028, F, Michigan Mystics National 2028, Eisenhower)
I really like the makeup of this Mystics team and Hawkins is a key piece. Coaches and scouts need to see Hawkins play in my opinion. She seems super steady offensively. Hawkins had a 16 point game and a 15 point game over the weekend. She's on our radar!
Mia Champagne (2027, F, Michigan Goonies 2026, Oxford)
Champagne continues to impress. She was recently included in a Kamp's Korner Substack article about post players that we'd offer - kampskorner.substack.com. In that piece Kamp's Korner comments about her rebounding. Well, here we are again. She's so tough on the glass.
Ava Rodriguez (2028, G, Michigan Mystics P24, Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard)
Every time I watch her play or get a call or message about her performance, it almost always comes back to her toughness. The Western Michigan commit is as gritty as they come and has become a defensive force.
Lucille Wrozek (2028, G, Michigan Premier Tropea S40 2028, Lumen Christi)
Wrozek has definitely created some buzz this weekend. All word is that she continues to look really comfortable on the offensive end. She's worked without the ball and attacked space with success. This movement has led to buckets from multiple spots on the floor.
