Stars Come Out To Camps

It's camping season and the big name players in the state of Michigan can often times be found at 1 or more of these events. There has certainly been some high quality players at some high quality events in early June. We're going to highlight some players that attended recent college prospect camps and take a look at their games and the skills that they may have brought to the camp.

Brynn Butler (2027, G/F, Jenison)

Butler was at the Hillsdale College Elite Camp. She's a very talented player with a high upside. Butler can score from all 3 levels. She can shoot through and over a closeout and can pull up and hit off the bounce from mid range. Butler is patient when she gets in the paint and will work to create space.

Alexandra Fuhs (2030, G, Factory Basketball)

Fuhs took the road trip to University of North Carolina Elite Camp. Yeah, she's a young player. But her skills can't be denied. I really like her mid range game. Fuhs can pull up almost effortlessly off the bounce and has some nice touch on that mid range jumper. Fuhs does a good job getting the ball downhill with both the pass and the dribble.

Lucy Young (2028, F/C, Hackett Catholic)

Young attended the Hope College Elite Camp. Let's face it, I think she's an elite post prospect in the midwest. Young can completely manipulate matchups and attack outside-in as well as inside-out. She's a consistent double-double performer and triple-double threat. Best thing may be that Young is a true 2 way player that takes pride in her D.

Hailey Durland (2026, G, Grand Rapids Catholic Central)

Durland went to the Hillsdale College Elite Camp. She has always impressed me when she gets downhill with ball and pushes it into the open floor off the bounce. Durland has been seen beating the defense down the floor and scoring in the open court. She keeps her head up and will kick out if it's the better option.

Sophia Fraas (2027, G, Northville)

Fraas attended the Hope College Elite Camp. She's always been a really talented shooter, but all word is that she's been putting in a lot of work on improving it. I'd say she's seeing the results she wants. Fraas is a fearless shooter that can hit big shots in big moments. She had a really solid spring and I'd excpect to hear more from her through the summer.
